Follow-up master’s degree program
The entrance exam will take place on June 7, 2021 – June 8, 2021 and has 2 rounds:
June 7, 2021 – 1st round – written test in anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, nursing and basics of intensive care. A total of 50 questions in total. Of the four possible answers, only one is the correct answer. The scope of the required knowledge of the mentioned subjects corresponds to the content of the qualification bachelor’s study program Nursing, study field General Nurse. Minimum and maximum possible number of points for the first round: minimum 0 – maximum 50. The point limit for advancing to the second round will be determined by the Dean on the basis of the results of the first round of the entrance examination
June 8, 2021 – 2nd round – oral testing – includes interpretation of popular science text – max. 25 points, assessment of communication skills, ability to make independent judgments, general outlook, motivation and prerequisites for study – max. 37 points (note in the second round evaluates skills, not knowledge). Minimum and maximum possible number of points for the second round: minimum 12 – maximum 62. This is the arithmetic average of the evaluation of three members of the examination commission. The arithmetic mean is rounded to two decimal places. The overall result of the entrance exam is given by the sum of points from the written and oral part of the entrance exam. The point limit for admission is determined by the Dean on the basis of the results of the entrance examination.
Admission requirements: completed university education in the accredited bachelor’s study program in Nursing, the field of study General Nurse or the bachelor’s study program in General Nursing, successful completion of the entrance examination and proof of completion of university education in the Czech or Slovak Republic, or recognition of foreign higher education.
The estimated number of accepted applicants is 30.
